Buglers damaged two private cars and took away 24 registration number plates from a number of vehicles at the Mikkeli city centre and adjoining areas late Saturday and early Sunday night, police said.
The miscreants took both the number plates of some vehicles and only one plate of some cars from the parking places during the indiscriminate incident of the special type of crime.
Police, however, recovered some of the plates on Sunday.
The owners of all the cars are yet to communicate with police to lodge complaints till Sunday afternoon.
The police asked the car owners to report to the police in this regard by making a phone call at the number 0718755400 or to the webpage http://www.poliisi.fi.
Police also urged the people who had witnessed the incident to communicate through phone calls to the police hotline 0718755450. More News
