Photo - Lehtikuva A leader of the Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party), the biggest component of the ruling six-party alliance government on Sunday strongly opposed to help the developing countries by giving financial aids.
Susanna Koski, chairperson of the youth front of the party also urged the government to stop such aids as she observed that such aids would not be helpful for the poor of the developing countries.
“The aids to the developing countries make them dependent on the western countries,” the leader told STT, adding that even the aids go to the rich people of the poor countries instead of reaching the poor people.
Koski proposed to take investment projects in the developing countries instead of giving financial assistance directly.
“The history says that market economy is the better way to create more wealth and peace all over the world compared to any other method,” said the youth leader.
She also opposed the rehabilitation of the refugees in the country and urged the government to abolish the refugee quota system.
“Rather we should provide humanitarian aid to many countries as possible instead of rehabilitation of only few refugees here in Finland,” she added.
