The opposition True Finns (Perussuomalainen) on Thursday finalised a proposal to expel one of its lawmakers from the party for the recent activities of his guest in parliament.

Some personal activities of the leader also prompted the party high-ups to take such action against him, said sources, adding that the executive body would meet soon to take the final decision in this regard.
“James Hirvisaari is going to be expelled from the party and the parliamentary group as well,” the party chief Timo Soini told STT, adding that the parliamentary group would take final decision in this regard.

“I will not accept in any case that would make the party liable as 560,000 people casted votes in favour of us in the parliamentary polls,” said the True Finns chief.
