Police said the assailants managed to flee the scene after the incident took place in front of the 40-year old victim’s residence at around 3pm. 
 
After being informed, police rushed to the scene, but the victim succumbed to his bullets wounds before an ambulance reached the place. 
 
Police said the killers had managed to escape arrest till Sunday night.
 
Police conducted extensive search at Eväkuja and other areas to nab the criminal and collected eyewitness accounts regarding the accused and the car used in the crime.
 
A murder case has been lodged in connection with the incident, while police did not disclose case details for the interest of investigation.
 
The law enforcing agency, however, decided to give details about the killing on Monday.

Earlier on October 4, two persons including a teenaged girl were reportedly killed in separate incidents at Neulamäki area in Kuopio and Forssa area of Kanta-Häme.
 
Police said a 50-year old man, who hailed from Leppävaara, was found dead inside an apartment building at Neulamäki in Kuopio.
 
Police arrested the 66-year-old owner of the apartment in this connection.
 
Meanwhile, miscreants killed an 18-year old girl and dumped the body in Koi-river at Forssa in Kanta-Häme on the same day.
 
A passerby found the body in the river and informed police.
