Finnish environmentalist Sini Saarela, who was granted bail on Tuesday,was released on Thursday.
 
“I thank all my friends, who helped me during the detention,” said Saarela after her release.
 
Saarela also said she felt happy and hoped to meet family soon.
 
A Saint Petersburg court granted her bail on Tuesday, the bond for which was fixed at two million roubles (About €4,500). 
 
A Russian court on October 30 charged 30 Greenpeace activists, including Saarela, with hooliganism. 
 
Russian coastguards captured a Greenpeace ship named Arctic Sunrise along with the 30 activists on September 18 when they staged demonstration against oil rigging by
Gazprom in the sea.
 
The Russian authority on September 29 sent Saarela and others to a two-month pre-trial detention in custody.
