“I thank all my friends, who helped me during the detention,” said Saarela after her release.
Saarela also said she felt happy and hoped to meet family soon.
A Saint Petersburg court granted her bail on Tuesday, the bond for which was fixed at two million roubles (About €4,500).
A Russian court on October 30 charged 30 Greenpeace activists, including Saarela, with hooliganism.
