Ruling National Coalition Party (Kansallinen Kokoomus) lawmaker Kimmo Sasi and his wife Viveca Sasi have ended their 16 years conjugal life.
According to information released by Sasi, the decision of divorce was reached in a mutual agreement that it was not embroiled in any drama.
Sasi, who hails from Tampera, has been a member of parliament since 1983 and has also acted in ministerial capacity.
The two married in 1997 and have a daughter.
