The Satakunta District Court awarded the punishment to the 26-year old female counsellor as the allegations brought against her were proved beyond doubt.
The court also ordered her to pay the 15-year old victim €6,000 as compensation.
The court ruling also established that the offender had committed the acts despite being in a completely different position to that of the victim.
The court also rejected the offenders plea for a mental check-up terming it not necessary after an initial objection by the prosecutor.
