The Finnish Defence Forces is to test a new and more efficient recruitment plan next spring by increasing the number of women in the military service.
 
The initiative from the Defence Minister Carl Haglund will be experimented in Pirkanmaa region and the target group is women between the age of 18-20.
 
The group will be sent a letter in February.
 
The defence forces is also planning to oversee the wider usage of social media in the service.
 
If the experiment proves to be successful the recruitment plan can be implemented nationwide.
