The government on Thursday decided to allocate state grants of €34 million to political parties for the year 2014.
The allocation is based on the proportion to the number of seats a political party got during previous elections.
Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party) received €7480000, Suomen Sosialidemokraattinen Puolue (Social Democratic Party of Finland) got €7140000 and
Perussuomalaiset (True Finns Party) was granted €6630000.
Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party) was allocated €5 950 000.
The state has been awarding the annual grant to the political parties since1967.
