She was alone in the Eräpolku Siwa at around 8pm when a man in his 20s stepped inside the store, police said.
The man with his face covered in a scarf, pulled out a knife demanding cigarettes and money.
The shopkeeper is reported to have refused to comply with the robber’s demand after which the robber threatened to take it by himself.
The shopkeeper then got hold of the robber and took the knife away.
According to police, the man tried to escape but the shopkeeper pulled him back and closed the door after winning the tussle.
Police is treating the issue as a case of attempted robbery.
