FTimes-STT Report, March 12

Two people were burnt to death on Tuesday when a fire broke out in a detached house at Äänekoski in central Finland.

According to police, the two adult victims died in the blaze which badly damaged the inside of the 200 square-foot brick house.

The exterior of the detached house, however, seemed to be unscathed. The fire alarm from Liimattala was relieved after 4am in the morning.

The rescue and emergency service managed to quickly bring the fire under the control, but found the two people dead.

The police are investigating the incident and the course of events leading to the fire will be described in details when the investigation becomes conclusive.
