A Finnish national has been reported killed in an avalanche at the Lofoten archipelago in Norway on Monday, news agency STT reported quoting news agencies TT and NTB .
The incident took place in a popular hiking area at the locality.
Nordlys, a local newspaper in Norway, reported that the rescues services had difficulties in locating the accident area at the initial stage but later they found out the spot of the occurrence.
