Arhinmäki said that Left Alliance pull out from the government and relinquish of his ministerial post has not affected his decision.
Jari Myllykoski,a Left Alliance MP from Satakunta appealed publicly for Arhinmäki to reconsider his position.
Arhinmäki has repeatedly said that he was not going to contest for the European Union parliamentary elections.
Some however will regard that situation has changed after recent events of Left Alliance departure from the government and that ministerial tasks no longer press.
According to Arhinmäki,there is no chance that he will contest the elections.He also admmitted to reporters at the parliament on wednesday evening that he had not yet reflected on the possibility of candidacy.
