The Court of Appeal on Wednesday ruled that property value of  up to 600,000 euros belonging to Jari Aarnio be confiscated.
 
In December, a District Court had ruled that property worth half a million should be confiscated.
 
Aarnio,the former head of Helsinki drug unit police is suspected of numerous crimes ranging from bribery and drug related offences that took place between 2008-2013.
 
The alleged drug crimes are linked to the shipment of hundreds of kilos of hashish from the Netherlands to Finland.
 
The bribery allegation is related to the alleged participation of Aarnio in the procurement deal involving Trevoc, a surveillance company.
 
Property of Trevoc valued at one million euro was seized.
