Juha Sipilä has been re-elected the chairman of the opposition Keskusta (Centre Party) for next two years.
 
The party delegates re-elected Sipilä unanimously on Saturday during the party council in Turku.
 
They also re-elected Timo Laaninen the party secretary. Laaninen is holding the position since 2010.

Laaninen bagged 869 votes while his rival candidates – Janne Seurujärvi and Jasi Kuokkanen – got 450 and 160 votes respectively.
 
Former minister Anu Vehviläinen has been elected the vice-chairman in the new committee.
 
Incumbent Vice-Presidents Juha Rehula and Annika Saarikko are also included in the new committee by securing 1,304 and 1,237 votes respectively.
