About 75 per cent of the respondents dubbed Niinistö’s performance as very good or fairly good.
The survey was conducted by TSN Gallup through interviewing more than 1,000 people over the age of 15 years.
The same survey also examined public satisfaction towards the speaker of parliament, Eero Heinäluoma.
The majority of the respondents, however, did not take a position with regard to the speaker’s performance, with 37 per cent of them taking a neutral stand.
The survey’s margin of error was +/-3.
