The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed the deaths of the Finns in the France Alps.
The accident took place on the Aiguille de Blaitière Mountain in the Chamonix region at about 9.00 AM.
The French media reported that the two mountaineers slipped and fell on a glacier.
The bodies of the victims were airlifted by a helicopter from the scene.
The Blaitière is one of the highest peaks of the Mount Blanc. Chamonix is known as a popular winter-sport resort centre.
