Särkänniemidolphinarium gets a new baby dolphin

A dolphin at Särkänniemidolphinarium in Tampere has given birth to a calf.
The mother is a 36 year old dolphin named Veera.The father of the dolphin called Leevi,was also born in Särkäniemi.
The birth of the calf went smoothly and both the mother and the baby are doing fine,said a release from the dolphinarium.
The dolphinarium has been closed until further notice in order to provide a tranquil environment for the mother and the baby.
