Four terrorism suspects are alleged to be involved in a murder case. Three people, all Finnish citizens, were arrested on Tuesday in suspicion of being involved in terrorism activities.
The murder is alleged to have been committed abroad around the period 2012-2014.On Thursday, the Helsinki District Court sentenced one more suspect in absentia in connection with terrorism activities.
 
The detention of the three suspects will be heard in the court on Friday.
 
Two of the suspects allegedly provided training and recruitment to commit terrorism crimes.
 
The lead investigator in the case Mika Ihaksinen said the suspects were involved in the activities of a foreign armed group.
