People of Kurdish origin on Friday demonstrated in Helsinki to influence decision makers in Finland and the European Union to join in the campaign against the extremist organisation ISIS.
According to the police, about 400 protesters gathered in front of the embassies of the United States and Turkey.
They protesters led a procession from Fredrikinkatu to Kamppi. The demonstration went smoothly according to police reports.
The demonstration caused a small traffic jam at the time around 3 pm and 4 pm.
