The District Court of Espoo on Friday remanded a 50-year-old man suspected of murdering a man of around 60 years of age in Espoo.
The victim was found dead in his apartment. Police said they received report of the crime late Tuesday, but the shooting apparently took place last week.
Western Uusimaa Police on Friday gave a brief statement on the incident and said it will not disclose more details at this point for the sake of proper investigation.
In another incident, a man around 60 years old was found murdered in his apartment in Ulvila, said Southwest Finland Police.
The murder came to police knowledge on Thursday morning.
Investigation is still going on. The police by Thursday evening had detained several people in connection with the murder but did not disclose details on the matter.
