According to Stubb, the issue about the joint report is likely to be presented soon during release of a Swedish report.
“According to rumours, there are suggestions that Finland and Sweden will work out with each other on possible NATO membership,” said Stubb while in Stockholm on Tuesday.
Foreign and security policy must be considered purely on national interest, stated Stubb.
According to the Prime Minister, if a NATO report or any other report on security is drafted, the basis is that it should be done by the Finnish state and the government.
Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven also dismissed the idea of a joint report stating that it is not on the agenda.
