Tobacco sales from vending machines is soon coming to an end.
The prohibition to sale tobacco from vending machines is soon to be enforced following a legislative amendment which was passed in 2010.
The new law takes effect at the turn of the year.
Automatic vending machines refers to machines in a which a customer chooses a product and pays for it.
Current machines in grocery stores may be used event after the turn of the year.
Businesses which still sale tobacco automatically have to inform the municipality where they are based that they have stopped sales of tobacco automatically or a new arrangement they have in place with regard to sale of tobacco.
