A rail accident in Turku city of southern Finland has caused Nitric acid leakage, local media reported.
An announcement about the incident happened in a railway station was issued by the emergency public service at around 6 p.m. (1600GMT) on Thursday evening. The rail services at the station were temporarily suspended soon after the accident was reported.

Residents living in the vicinity of the Turku railway station were advised to close doors and windows and stay at home due to the toxic leak.
According to the head of the rescue service, nitric acid leaked from a hatch at a train carriage, and the rescue team has fixed the problem. No one was injured in the accident.
The Finnish national railway company VR estimated that rail services at the Turku railway station will resume to operate at 8 p.m., however, delays are expected after that.
