Police said that the two bandits, one of them equipped with firearm, entered into the jewellery shop located at Pohjoisplanadi Street at about 11:40am and took away a large number of watches at gun point.
They also tied the seller with cables during the robbery and left the scene.
The seller, however, managed to press the alarm button immediate after the incident and the security guards caught the suspects and handed them over to the police.
The police confirmed that the two suspects are foreigners.
