Prime Minister Alexander Stubb is scheduled to leave Helsinki for Paris today to attend a Unity Rally to honour the victims of the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack, said an official press release.
French President François Hollande invited the Finland prime minister to attend the rally with a number of heads of European States taking part.
The rally will take place on Sunday at 15.00 French time.
Twelve people were killed on Wednesday in a shooting at the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo, a satirical newspaper. Four others were seriously wounded in the terror attack.
