The President of the Republic and the Cabinet Committee on Foreign and Security Policy on Tuesday discussed the Ukraine situation and Russia, said a press release of the Government Communications Department.
Over the recent days, the ceasefire has been violated several times in the Donbass region. Attacks have also been reported from Kharkiv, Odessa and Kherson.
Finland considers it important that the negotiations continue and calls for a full implementation of the Minsk ceasefire agreement. It encourages the Ukrainian Government to make rapid progress on achieving the country's internal reforms.
The President of the Republic and the Cabinet Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discussed the terrorist attack in Paris and expressed their condolences to the families and friends of the victims. Finland strongly condemns terrorism, said the release.
