According to the party chair, Ville Niinistö, use of renewable energy would create 50,000 new jobs.
On Saturday, Niinistö presented the party’s election manifesto at a party convention in Kouvola.
The main themes of the manifesto are environment, poverty reduction, education and employment.
According to Niinistö, the party will in a few weeks’ time release its own model of “economic road map” which includes a proposal for achieving fiscal balance.
