Having time for leisure and comfortable life as well as economic equality are becoming more treasured by Finns than before, whereas world peace is becoming less valued compared to previous surveys. On the top of the list, values still cherished by Finns remain health, self-esteem, love and freedom. However, the importance Finns place on these values have slightly lessened compared to the 1999 survey. The difference in attitude between generations was also evident in the survey.
