A blanket of cloud cover in some parts of the Faroe Islands prevented the viewing of a total eclipse.
“It was rainy and windy. Nothing was seen,” Hungarian tourist Gabor Lantos complained as quoted by the news agency Reuters.
Some tourists were so irritated that they demanded their money back, reported Reuters.
