A 26-year-old woman on her way back home from a restaurant was raped inside a car in Humalistonkatu area of downtown Turku early Sunday morning.
The police in Turku are appealing for any clues which could help in the investigation of a suspected rape incident.
According to the police, the woman was apparently walking along the Eerikinkatu Street and later turned towards the Humalistonkatu Street.
At some point a man appeared and offered to give her a ride home.
According to the police description, the suspect is around 40 years old, slim and is about 165 centimetres tall. The man had dark bristle and was possibly wearing red clothes.
The suspect was also described as speaking accented Finnish. His white station wagon was parked at the Humalistonkatu Street.
