According to the court, the gang members forced the victim to buy a Mercedes Benz for their use, assaulted the victim in their premises as well as forcefully acquired the victim's property.
The court applied its verdict on aggravated circumstances because the crimes were committed on the behest of Cannonball motorcycle club and United Brotherhood gangs.
One convict was sentenced to four years in prison for aggravated extortion and for aggravated attempt to extort as well as for robbery, whereas two others were handed three and a half years prison sentence each for robbery and aggravated attempted extortion.
Another one who stood accused was convicted for robbery and attempted extortion and was sentenced to three years in prison.
Furthermore, one gang member was handed half a year unconditional imprisonment sentence.
One other man was acquitted of all the charges.
