The Helsinki police have arrested 10 people in connection to death of a 36-year-old man who was murdered on Thursday in Helsinki district of Vuosaari.
Police inspector Juha Rautaheimo said the arrested people’s possible part in the incident will be investigated.
The matter is currently being investigated as murder.
"All the people here are familiar with each other," said Rautaheimo.
The police were on Thursday informed through the emergency response centre about a possible murder and on arrival at the scene they discovered a man who succumbed to sharp weapon injuries in the courtyard of a house.
According to Rautaheimo the victim did not live in the courtyard area where his body was found but was a resident of Vuosaari.
