The majority of Finns living and working in Estonia would recommend their friends to move to Estonia, according to a survey by Enterprise Estonia, an organisation which promotes business in Estonia.

Over half of Finns who responded to the online survey would recommend moving to Estonia. However, 37 per cent of the respondents would recommend moving, albeit with reservations.

In the survey, only two per cent of the respondents would not recommend moving to Estonia at all.

Over half of the respondents revealed their salaries to be substantially or somewhat better in Estonia than in Finland.

Less than a half of the respondents found their jobs to be more meaningful or less challenging than in Finland.

The majority of the respondents also believe accommodation comfort in Estonia to be better.

Two hundred and eighty-seven Finns of the ages between 20 and 70 responded to the survey.

According to the Finnish embassy in Tallinn, slightly over 6,000 Finns live in Estonia.
