12 hospitalised after toxic liquid spillage in Helsinki

Twelve people were rushed to hospital on Thursday in Helsinki after being exposed to a dangerous fume.
The exposed were all national postal service Posti workers. The accident happened at the Posti’s logistics centre in Pasila shortly before 4.00 pm.
In all, 24 persons were exposed to the dangerous vapour which the rescue department confirmed as a resin-based liquid.
The liquid was originally stored in a container which was accidentally punctured by a truck.
