The majority of about 10,000 conscripts will be enrolled in the Army, about 1,550 will join the Navy and about 650 conscripts will begin their careers in the Air Force.
The remaining about 300 conscripts will join the Border Guard.
Traditionally, Kainuu and Karelia brigades welcome most of the conscripts. Each of the two brigades will receive 2,000 conscripts.
Säkylä and Niinisalo garrisons of the Pori brigade will receive a total of 2,100 conscripts.
About 750 conscripts will be based at the Uusimaa Brigade which issues instruction in Swedish.
