Man stabbed in Oulu

The police are investigating an incident in which two people were found dead at a house in Helsinki.
 
The police did not divulge details of their investigation.
 
The investigation is still underway, lead investigator Toni Uusikivi from the Helsinki police department revealed.
 
The news was first reported by a Finnish language tabloid, Iltalehti.
 
Meanwhile in Oulu, the police are investigating two isolated stabbing incidents which took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.
 
A man in his 30s is suspected to have stabbed another man on the neck with a knife. The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday at Oulu’s Tuira district.
 
The neck injuries are deemed serious but not life threatening, the police said. The case is being investigated as attempted murder.
 
In another incident which happened just after midnight on Sunday in Oulu, a man was stabbed in front of a restaurant at the Oulu city centre.
 
The suspect, also in his 30s, fled after stabbing the victim.
 
The injury suffered was described as quite mild by the police.
 
The intoxicated suspect who had been behaving aggressively was afterwards apprehended.
