The Adobe Flash Player’s security hole has already been exploited, said the National Cyber Security Centre Finland (NCSC-FI) of Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA) on Thursday.

According to Cyber Security Centre, the flash vulnerability was used in network attacks as soon as it was detected.

The Flash Player is a common browser extension which is used to play, for example, videos in web browsers.

The software company Adobe released on Wednesday a Flash Player update which is said to correct the vulnerability.

Users are recommended to update to the latest version immediately.

According to Cyber Security Centre, the attack programme, however, works relatively well against the updated version of the Flash.
