A woman was found dead in the water at the Aurinkolahti swimming beach of Vuosaari in Helsinki on Saturday morning.
Inspector EsaPennanen of the Helsinki police said the police had received a notification of the incident from the general people.
An investigation into the cause of the death has been started, but the police do not suspect any incident of crime.
The woman’s body was found in the water at 10.00 o’clock in the morning. The case was first reported in the Finnish language evening tabloid Ilta-Sanomat.
