According to preliminary information, the injuries sustained by the man are not life threatening.
According to the police, the young man threatened to kill himself and his loved ones.
The police were alerted by a person who was in the same house as the man. Afterwards, the man started to roam nearby the house.
The man who held a shotgun came to the yard near the residential house adjacent to a forest on the arrival of the police. He failed to obey police orders and also threatened the police officers. As a result, he was shot at the lower body.
The man was given first aid at the spot and later transported for further treatment.
The police said the shotgun held by the man was loaded. The man is suspected of carrying out unlawful threats and obstructing the authorities in carrying out their duty with the violence.
