The national Independence Day parade will be held in Jyväskylä this year with about 650 personnel and 50 vehicles from all branches of the defence services participating.

There will also be a flyover of six Hornets, six Hawks, three NH90 transport helicopters and three MD500 light helicopters.

The day will culminate with the march of a Leopard 2A6 battle tank, the first such display in Cen-tral-Finland.

After the parade, the Air Force's aerobatic departments, the Midnight Hawks, will perform a demonstration in the skies above Jyväskylä.

All the day's planned flights are subjected to weather conditions.
