Fri, 20 Nov, 2015 03:55:59 AM FTimes- STT Report, Nov 20  File Photo Lehtikuva. The popularity of the (Suomen Sosialidemokraattinen Puolue Social Democratic Party of Finland) has continued to rise during the past month, found a survey commissioned by Helsingin Sanomat, a Finnish language daily.
The recent survey by the daily established the support of SDP to be at 19.6 percent.
The support for the Perussuomalaiset (Finns Party) looks to be stuck below at 11 percent, a figure which is less by 6.5 percentage points from last spring parliamentary election.
The Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party) remains the most popular party in the country despite the gap between the ruling party and SDP having shrunk. Keskusta support is at 21.6 percent.
The support for Kansallinen Kokoomus (National Coalition Party) has risen slightly to 18.4 percent.
The Vihreä liitto (Green League) surpassed the Finns Party and its support now stands at 11.6 per-cent.
The survey was conducted by TNS Gallup and 2,400 persons were interviewed between 19 October and 12 November.
The sample represents the voting age population in mainland Finland.
