A second group home for minor asylum seekers is coming to Sipo’s Västerkog. The group home will have 21 places for children who have arrived in Finland without a guardian and are under the age of 16 years.

The new group home’s doors are scheduled to open in January.

The unit is being set up by the Uusimaa District Mannerheim League for Children (MLL).

The MLL also set up the previous group home for minor asylum seekers.

There will also be a group home set up in Sipo’s Hindsby by Medivida Oy either before Christmas or early next year.
