The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) have announced discovery of liquid amphetamines be-ing brought into the country.

Police suspect that the motorcycle gang Bandidos brought amphetamine oil from Germany to Nokia. From Nokia, the drugs are suspected of being distributed throughout Finland.

Finnish police suspect seven people of aggravated drug offenses, six of whom are members of Ban-didos.

About 20 liters of the amphetamine was smuggled into the country, enough to make more than 100 kilos of ready, powdered amphetamine. The amount equates to about half a million doses, with a street value in excess of euro three million.

According to the police, the oil, suspected to be manufactured in the Netherlands, was brought to Finland in seven installments between 2012 and 2014.

In May, German and Finnish police performed a joint raid at the suspected gang's premises. There are 57 suspects in Germany.

The possible involvement of an organised crime group is also being investigated in the case. There are 15 suspects.

The preliminary investigation is now complete, and the case moves to the Central Finland Police Department for the consideration of charges.
