The Helsinki Court of Appeal on Thursday sentenced a 62-year-old man to two years and four months in prison for aggravated child sexual abuse.
The man was also ordered to pay a compensation of 17,000 euros.
According to the public report, the man abused a girl by touching her in sauna washrooms, among other things.
In addition, the man watched pornographic materials in the view of the child and satisfied himself.
A District Court had dismissed the charges because the man’s culpability remained unclear.
The abuse lasted for three years, since the child was seven years old till she was nine.
