Sat, 19 Dec, 2015 01:43:43 AM FTimes-Xinhua Report, Dec 19 The Finnish Supreme Court on Friday endorsed the extradition of a Russian citizen from Finland to the United States. Russian citizen Maxim Senakh was detained at the Finnish-Russian border in August and the United States requested his extradition. Charges have been filed against him in the U.S. state of Minnesota for computer fraud. Senakh and possible accomplices allegedly installed malware on thousands of servers in the United States, Finland and worldwide. Senakh himself opposed the planned extradition. Also, the Russian Foreign Ministry was publically critical of the detainment in August. However, the Supreme Court noted in its decision that no reasons for not extraditing Senakh had been found. The decision was made in votes of four in favor to one against. Finnish justice and labor minister Jari Lindstrom will take the final decision probably early in 2016. More News
