A 35-year-old man was reportedly killed in a residence at Nokia area in Pirkanmaa late Thursday night.
Police said that the victim was visiting the house of another 32-year-old man at that time.
Both the guest and the host enjoyed alcohol and Sauna during the night. At a certain stage ex-change of words ensued between them which turned violent, said police.
No weapon was apparently used.
Responding to an alarm raised shortly before midnight police rushed to the spot but failed to res-cue the victim.
The police have arrested the host. The incident is being investigated as assault and manslaughter but the offence may be changed.
Preliminary result of the autopsy is expected on Saturday.
