Two elderly people died in a detached house fire on Tuesday night in Espoo, southern Finland, reported local media on Wednesday.

 When Rescue workers reached the scene, the fire had spread to the whole house, and flames came out of the eaves.

 A man and a woman, both about 80 years old, were found dead in the house, said the Finnish News Agency STT. No other residents were in the house when the fire broke out.

 According to latest information obtained by STT, the house caught fire again on Wednesday morning.

 According to rescue workers, the about 100-square-meter wooden house built in 1950s has been destroyed.

 The cause of the fires is under police investigation.
