The Romanian married a Finnish citizen in 2010 and the couple had a child in 2011.
While in Finland, the Romanian committed a number of crimes, some of which carried aggravated charges.
The court found that this kind of activity may represent a genuine, adequate and serious threat to the fundamental interests of the society.
In the Supreme Administrative Court’s view, the decision took into account the family situation, financial situation, and integration into the Finnish society and culture.
The court advocated the deportation of the Romanian due to the large number of crimes committed during such a short residence in Finland.
