A fireworks rocket was shot at the kitchen window of the reception centre in the Hyrynsalmi district of Kainuu late Saturday night, said the police.

A dark station wagon was seen leaving the scene.

There were two people inside, one of whom was remarkably tall.

According to the police bulletin, the car had been driving through the village prior to the incident. The rocket did not cause any serious damage.
